How does PLC interface to variable frequency drive controller
The
System of VFD which abbreviate from variable frequency drive generally consists of
an AC
motor, a
device controller and an operator interface.
How to communicate with variable frequency drive of PLC unit?
Most VFD have a
digital, analog and communication interface, you can use to exchange with a
remote control.
Digital signals are Start, Stop, Rotation CW, CCW Rotation, Jog, Speed Set 1
Set Speed 2 (this can drive the speed parameter), management status, alarms .
Analog signals are the reference speed, speed feedback, current, voltage, DC voltage, bus, RTD feedback .
Communication bus of the digital and analog signals via Modbus, Profibus-DP, Ethernet / IP,
ControlNet, and many others, depending on the manufacturer.
And let SNCE multiple connections, you will save a lot on the cable, one cable run many nodes PLC
We come to try to understand the VFD system before continue to read more in PLC interface with VFD. (more…)

How to implement a PID Loops control system in PLC programming
I think,this
article will be you like because many PLC developper want to understand in PID
controller, acquisition and transmission for PLC .
As I have read and understood what is the proper way to tune a loop that the data on the response of a process of maintaining and tuning parameters (eg data: building a FOPDT) model to collect.

Proportional-Only Control - Why Won’t It Work?

Scaling with y=mx+b (chapter 2)
Q: But in almost all the experiences I have had with tuning loops in the industry, I have never seen an engineer.
Either you have never used a real control engineer and the system is so simple that it can be manually adjusted. A real control engineer would know that more steps manually or comparison.
Q: So make me some questions, such things should realistically possible, hopefully this is not just my inexperience in the real world monkeys stuff of science.

As you said, the real problem is the data and installation instructions, a model. If the model is a FOPDT or SOPDT or neither. Position control models also come with an integrator that speed is not to integrate. I’ve always, you hope that the system free linear.
I’ve never used a system with a transfer function. For me all the systems I’ve seen are not designed and is kludged. This finding means that the control engineer has a transfer function empirically close enough.

Omron PLC compared with other PLC brands
I hear from many PLC User for differrent PLC brands,Sure! ,it is not seem .
I am the one who currently using controllers Omron. Omron PLC can be compared to other brands? They lack some features that other rationales are?
Answer the questions are related. A strong person to say that the use of AB, AB, and so many characters.
The Website is Omron - Omron most of us are nuts, and really do not want to use something else to make, as commercial considerations.

I remember all the characters PLC has its advantages and disadvantages.
As for me, is my only exposure AB, and I find it hard to use. AB has a number of different programs, controller architectures, Panasonic has CXOne. But it is like to that AB has more users than any other brand here in the U.S. seems to be more supportive and compatible devices. (more…)
